The United States Geological Service is reporting that a 6.0 magnitude earthquake has hit central Afghanistan at 6:56 PM (EST) approximately 40 miles South Southeast of KABUL, Afghanistan and 60 miles West Southwest of Jalalabad, Afghanistan.
